What is an Australian Mountain Doodle?
Australian Mountain Doodles are a thoughtful blend of Bernedoodle and Aussiedoodle. They are known for their affectionate, intelligent, people-focused nature and are expected to mature around 50–65 pounds.
Do Australian Mountain Doodles shed?
Most are low-shedding because of their Poodle influence, though coat type and shedding vary by puppy. No dog is completely hypoallergenic, but this mix can be a good fit for many allergy-sensitive families.
How are the puppies raised?
Every puppy is raised inside our home, never in a kennel building. They are handled daily, exposed to our children and normal household rhythms, introduced to crate exposure, and given foundational potty-training opportunities.
What health and veterinary care do you provide?
Betsy and George have completed health testing and Embark genetic testing. Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations, routine deworming, and a full veterinary exam before going home, along with a 12-month genetic health guarantee.
How do deposits and puppy selection work?
A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves a puppy and is applied to the final purchase price. Families select in the order deposits are received, and we are always happy to guide you based on temperament and fit.
What does a puppy's fee include?
Your puppy goes home with vaccinations and deworming records, a veterinary exam, starter food, a scent blanket, a go-home bag, health guarantee information, and lifetime breeder support.
When can puppies go home?
Puppies go home at 10 weeks of age. We recommend scheduling your first veterinary appointment before your puppy arrives home.
Can we visit or meet Betsy and George?
Yes. Visits are scheduled after puppies reach a safe age, and Betsy and George can be met during a scheduled visit. We also share photos, videos, and FaceTime calls with families who cannot visit in person.
Do you offer breeding rights?
Our puppies are placed as pets and require spay/neuter per contract unless otherwise approved by Legacy Three Homestead.
